Excalibur participates in EBIC workshop on “Microbial plant stimulants”

On November 19th, Excalibur’s coordinator, Stefano Mocali (CREA), participated in an online workshop by The European Biostimulants Industry Council: EBIC.

The workshop was dedicated to microbial plant biostimulants – their importance and benefits. Focus was also put on contributing to a concrete reflection on how to place new microbial plant biostimulants on the European market, including safety requirements and the update of Component Material Category (CMC) 7 in the FPR.

The workshop was intended for (technical/scientific and regulatory) experts from the national ministries or authorities, working or being consulted in the context of microorganisms evaluation for use of products in agriculture.
